Supporting the installation, maintenance and operation of irrigation systems across high-quality commercial landscape projects, helping to ensure planting establishes successfully and landscapes continue to perform at their best.

Essex / East London | Full-time

Supporting the installation, maintenance and operation of irrigation systems across high-quality commercial landscape projects.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain and service irrigation systems across commercial landscape projects.
Assist with testing, commissioning and fault finding to ensure systems operate efficiently.
Carry out routine inspections and identify repairs, adjustments or improvements required.
Work with pipework, valves, controllers, sprinklers and drip irrigation systems.
Support seasonal irrigation start-ups, adjustments and shutdowns.
Work alongside our landscape maintenance and site teams where required.
Maintain accurate records of works completed and report any defects or issues.
Follow site-specific RAMS and maintain high standards of health, safety and workmanship.

Key Requirements

Experience: Previous practical experience in irrigation, landscaping, horticulture or a similar outdoor technical role. Direct irrigation experience would be advantageous.
Technical Knowledge: An understanding of irrigation systems, pipework, valves, controllers and water distribution would be beneficial, with a willingness to develop further technical knowledge.
Practical Skills: Confident using tools and equipment, carrying out practical site-based work and identifying and resolving problems methodically.
Working Style: Reliable, proactive and physically capable, with excellent attention to detail and a professional, team-oriented approach when working across client sites.
Licence: Full clean UK Driving Licence required. Due to the location of our current projects, candidates should ideally be based in Essex, East London or within convenient travelling distance of the A127.

Role development

There will be opportunities to develop specialist irrigation knowledge through practical experience and industry training, supporting the continued growth of NAO Landscapes’ irrigation and aftercare services.
