NAO Landscapes delivered a comprehensive hard and soft landscaping package at Oval Village for Berkeley Group, combining public realm improvements with private podium gardens and a Level 8 terrace. As our third successive scheme at Oval Village, the project builds on our established experience of delivering complex landscapes across the development.

Working alongside landscape architects HTA, our team brought together a diverse range of landscape elements to create attractive, functional outdoor spaces for residents and visitors.

The hard landscaping package included natural stone paving and copings, extensive tree cell installation, drainage systems and landscape feature lighting. Freestanding benches and planters with integrated seating were incorporated throughout the scheme, creating places to relax and enjoy the landscaped surroundings.

The public realm and residential amenity spaces also included play equipment, resin-bound and wetpour surfaces, and a sail and shade structure. These features provide varied spaces for recreation and everyday use, responding to the different requirements of the development’s shared and private areas.

Trees and soft planting were supported by irrigation systems and below-ground infrastructure, helping to establish and sustain the landscape.

With works spanning the public realm, podium and Level 8 terrace, Oval Village demonstrates NAO’s ability to coordinate complex, multi-level landscape construction while delivering a consistent standard of finish across different outdoor environments.
