As part of an ongoing partnership with Berkeley Group, NAO Landscapes recently donated bulbs and bags of soil to the Archbishop Sumner Church of England school in Lambeth, the children at the school will have the opportunity to get their hands in the soil and a taste for gardening as they plant the bulbs in preparation for springtime.
Not only will it provide a more aesthetically pleasing environment for students and teachers alike, but it also offers an education into the world of horticulture, something that NAO is more than happy to encourage and support. Gardening can help children learn about nature, develop their motor skills and get exercise. As they learn about different types of plants and how to care for them, it can also help them understand the importance of protecting the environment. On top of all of that, it also can just be good old-fashioned fun.
