Regent’s View is a major residential development in Bethnal Green, London, where NAO Landscapes has delivered a comprehensive package of hard and soft landscaping works to create high-quality external spaces for residents and the wider community.
Working alongside St William and the wider project team, our role has been to translate the landscape design into a carefully coordinated, high-quality finished environment. The works bring together hard landscaping, extensive planting and detailed external finishes, creating a series of welcoming spaces that complement the development’s architecture and provide a greener setting within a densely built-up part of London.
A significant element of the project has been the delivery of an extensive planting scheme incorporating more than 7,700 plants. Trees, shrubs, perennials and other planting have been used to introduce layers of greenery, texture and seasonal interest, helping to soften the built environment and create a landscape that will continue to develop as it matures.
The planting also contributes to the ecological value of the development. As the landscape has established, bees and butterflies have been photographed amongst the planting, illustrating how thoughtfully designed and carefully delivered urban landscapes can provide opportunities for wildlife alongside attractive spaces for people.
Delivering a landscape of this scale within a major residential development requires close coordination with the main contractor, design team and other trades. Our team has worked to manage the sequencing of works, material deliveries, planting and detailed finishes alongside the wider construction programme, maintaining a consistent focus on quality, safety and the successful delivery of the landscape design.
Regent’s View demonstrates NAO’s ability to deliver complex hard and soft landscaping packages while balancing technical requirements, architectural quality and long-term landscape performance. As the planting continues to establish and mature, the external spaces will develop further, creating a lasting landscape that enhances the experience of living at Regent’s View.
